Some emails display BLANK content. Some content is displayed in wrong header. BUGS in the new release 91.8.0?
1. Some of my emails display BLANK content when opened; since Thunderbird updated with 91.8.0 to my Windows 11 64bit. The header displays correctly but the view screen is blank. I've tried troubleshooting in safemode and disabled any add ons, reset all the display controls and restarted with no success to resolve the problem. I've tried different view modes, Original, Simple HTML and Plain text and still get nothing showing. I've tried to copy the blank screen to clipboard to try different color modes with no luck. Not a problem of White on White text. The message is in there when I check the Message Source, but it does not display in the view. However the original mail does display correctly on my browser when viewed on my ATT email account which forwards to Thunderbird on my computer.
ODD Solution: i just noticed that when I move the email with the BLANK content to TRASH, then that content does display correctly! Then I can move that email back to my INBOX and it displays there correctly. Isn't that crazy? Ha,ha, the quirks of computers are like quarks in quantum mechanics with random results.
2. Some of my email content is displayed under the WRONG HEADER. The email content displayed under the wrong header is usually the content from the prior message. For example I get an email from CVS ok. Then my next Email is from Citibank, but that email displays the content from the prior CVS email. No solution to that as of yet. Are these BUGS in the new release 91.8.0?

Sounds more like you have index files getting out of sync with actual data. This can happen if Anti-Virus product has been attempting to fix mbox files - do not let any Anti-Virus product perform an auto fix on any Thunderbird file - it must ask you and I would advise you do not allow it. It can also happen if you have not been compacting on a regular basis.
So try this first:
- Right click on folder and select 'Properties'
- click on 'Repair Folder'
- click on OK

I have a similar issue. In the sent folder I have an email with the wrong email text for the given subject. The same email on the web server is correct and is also correct when using Apple Mail client.
