Hello All, my inbox messages have disappeared! I have been using Thunderbird for years and my current version is 78.5.0, set up as a pop mail account on Windows. Messages stored inside the Sent, Drafts, and Trash are still visible and accessible from the Thunderbird main window and the Inbox folder still correctly indicates a number of messages stored, but no messages appear where I would usually see them. If I try to download new messages, Thunderbird responds with a message saying that there are "no new messages" though I can see new messages in my inbox when I bypass Thunderbird and log into my email account using a browser. Please help!

To everyone who didn't reply to my plea for help, you were right; I am an idiot. I figured out that I had somehow deleted all entries from Thunderbird's "Set Columns To Display" button, (the tiny icon located just above the scroll thingy on the right of the screen), and so no mail messages appeared in the window just as you would expect them not to. It's fixed now and so let's just forget all about it.
