After fixing other problems (couldn't open emails, and more) someone told me to use safe mode-- Well THAT worked fixed that problem. Howevers, since then, when I am on the internet searching on different sited, it freezes. The only option is to close the internet. When I reopen, I get that Sorry, oops with a list of sites and asking me winch to restore. I have tried clicking on the "firefox looking to fix etc etc., but THAT does what I do-- close the internet and show me that sorry bla bla restore which ones page. This is driving me crazy as i am a researcher and it is happening more often. Cna anyone please help???

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"

You need to close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.

You can check if there is an update for your graphics display driver and check for hardware acceleration related issues.
