I can't delete Firefox from my iMac. The app won't drag to the trash. It wouldn't update, so I have been trying to completely uninstall before re-installing.
My Firefox wasn't updating. It would just hang there like it was downloading and updating but never finished no matter how long I waited. So, I want to delete it completely and try installing new.
I have made Safari my default browser, made sure that Safari is NOT running and have deleted the profile. I try to drag the icon from the app folder, but it doesn't go into the trash bin.

First, restart your computer. Then you should be able to install Firefox over your old version without even uninstalling: How to download and install Firefox on Mac
