line breaks lost when forwarding
Hi, Using TB on Windows 8.1 When I forward an email, if I delete any part of the original message in the forwarded message, I lose all line breaks in the remaining part of the forwarded message, making it virtually unreadable. What am I doing wrong? S

You have got me!
Are you in any way technically inclined?
I write software for a living so I guess the answer is no. :-)
install this add-on https://nic-nac-project.org/~kaosmos/edithtml-en.html and use the view HTML entry on the format menu is creates to see the underlying HTML.
I really do no know what the issue is, but a look at before and after HTML should shed some light I think.

BTW they are looking for volunteers to help with the rewrite of the editor if you ever feel like getting involved.
Hi,
It appears that there is aat the beginning of the quoted material that gets deleted if the beginning of the original message is edited, and doesn't get reinstated. So any line breaks that were replicated due to being within thetag are lost. Here's the html of a sample message - if you edit in the normal editor and thetag gets lost the message loses its formatting. I bought one, now there is no audio input that I can find. What's the deal? Did I receive a knockoff or the wrong model? Or are you advertising something you don't deliver?

Hmm, re the above, you will have to look at the source to see it since the forum page is trying to display it as html :-)
Ya, obviously by that post the tags are not loaded as the html you put in it should render due to the site's style for "<block quote.>"
The line breaks in an email formatted in html can be done a few ways as you know. asscii "
" etc
It you help rewrite the editor that would awesome, or in the meantime some other solutions:
