When creating a new Windows 7 user and launching Firefox for the first time, it doesn't use the localstore.rdf and my userchrome.css.

I am setting up a deployment for Firefox in our new Win7 environment and I have the following files "browser-->defaults-->profile-->localstore.rdf" and "browser-->defaults-->profile-->chrome-->userChrome.css".

When launching Firefox after the install for the current user, everything looks great however if I create a new Win7 user and login to it, launch FireFox I can see both the localstore.rdf and the userchrome.css are not copied properly and are not being applied.

If I close Firefox and copy the files manually, it works fine.

It is very important for my organization to have certain features locked without using add-ons so I have manipulated the userchrome.css

The only mod I have done in the localstore.rdf is to use the menu bar and not the firefox ribbon.

Any ideas why this is not working?

Hey!

Yeah, I have seen the major changes in FF 21. I have placed my files in the spot as described in your link. This is why I am confused to why when I create a new user it doesn't seem to work.

After installing FF and running it for the first time as the current user, it works fine.

With regards to the CCK Wizard, I have been advised not to do this by colleagues. From my understanding you must have the CCK as an extension... and well my department doesn't want any extensions.
