In previeous firefox versions, next to the back button was a drop down arrow that allowed going back multiple pages. Where did it go?
In older firefox versions, there was a button that brought up a dropdown selection of the last 10 or so pages, but I can't figure out how to get it back in the new version. This is a problem because my school website uses a lot of ID-verification transition pages between links, so when I try to hit the back button, it sends me to the verification page and then right back to the page I was on, and there's no way to go back without opening up my history, something that can be a hassle if I'm looking at things in multiple tabs. Is there anything I can do?

You can get the drop down list by either right-clicking on the back/forward buttons, or holding down the left button until the list appears.
If you want the drop-down arrow you can add it with the Back/forward dropmarker add-on - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/backforward-dropmarker
