is there a way to have exceptions to blocking web page redirect/reload?
I'd like to generally block web page redirects and automatic reloads, but there are some sites for which I'd like an exception. I could find exception lists for pop-ups but not for reloads. In order to have my bank's web page and a certain chat box page work as-intended I have had to deselect "warn me if web sites try to redirect or reload the page". Otherwise, I have to click "Allow" over and over again at the top of the page. I'd like this to work like the pop-up blocker, where you can just add an exception to the web site.
Chosen solution
It is an accessibility feature to prevent confusion caused by a sudden redirect and not a security feature to block redirects.

Thank you, cor-el! chemess
You're welcome
hello,
tried unsuccessfully to download and install no redirect in firefox 3.6.13, windows xp pro, sp3.
after clicking on install now, nothing happens except hard drive icon on my thinkpad flashes [as it does whenever there's an install or other activity related to it].
any thoughts on this?
p.s. why doesn't firefox include this task in its software?
given the incredible amount of page redirects that occur daily, it seems that the ability to block them, using a white list, would be a basic function incorporated by the developer of a web browser like firefox.
thank you.
why doesn't mozilla include this as part of firefox?
