After installing version 3.66 Firefox will not let my users update to a newer version

more options

Every few months I go around to the office PCs where my users have normal guest rights (so they can not install applications). I log in as an Administrator and update programs as needed, including Firefox to the latest version (3.66). I've done this for years and Firefox always updates for them when they are logged in with their basic user rights. After I installed this version, everyone is getting an error that "there is an update available, but you do not have permission to install it". How can I fix this so the browser will update again for all my users.
