Hey Everyone,

I've tried most of the solutions featured on this website and others about Audio problems in Firefox. Let me go down the list of things I've attempted to get my audio working again:

1. Uninstalled/Repaired/Clean Installed Firefox 2. Uninstalled My Audio Driver/Reinstalled 3. Uninstalled Flash, Reinstalled with the Latest Version. 4. Disabled all of my plugins in an attempt to get it to work. 5. Cleared my Cache/DNS- everything I could think of. 6. Checked my Windows Mixer, Muted, Unmuted, Turned it all the way up, down.. whatever.

- With all of this- my Audio still refuses to work BUT it works fine in Chrome/Safari/Internet Explorer flawlessly.

This happened

Every time Firefox opened

== It all started when went and press the 'mute' button on firefox only in my Windows Mixer (windows 7, 64-bit)... when I went to go listen to a video later I go back to unmute it, I do so- but still no audio and it's been like that ever since.

Firefox is probably still muted in your volume mixer. To unmute it, follow these steps:

  1. Play some audio in Firefox
  2. Open the volume mixer
  3. Look for the Firefox entry, unmute it, and turn its volume up
