I purchased and installed Avast One for protection of my laptop. Since doing so, I have frequently found I cannot access certain websites. Examples of a couple websites: Lowes, Ticketmaster, Craigslist are a few I cannot access. If I use Google Chrome, I can access the websites. Firefox is my default browser and I do not want to use separate browsers when I cannot access websites on Firefox. Prior to installing Avast, I never had an issue accessing websites. Is there a conflict with Avast and Firefox? Prior to installing Avast One, I had used the free Avast malware protection and had no issues.

As to issue with Avast that is up to contact Avast support to find out what is going on with their software.

I contacted Avast prior to placing the message on the forum. Since the issue is occurring on Firefox and not other browsers, they told me to contact Firefox.

Did you try Firefox in Private Mode Browser mode to see what happens at the same site? Also you mentioned prior to Avast install you had no issue so that would mean something with Avast installed could be also the cause the block or it's block has something affecting Firefox. And what exactly did Avast say since they claim it wasn't their software?

Please uninstall Avast and confirm that fixes the issue.
