How can I prevent a specific address from appearing in the address bar?
I'd like to be able to prevent a specific address from appearing in the Firefox address bar (as a suggestion) when I start to type in the address bar. I tried deleting the cookies associated with a particular address, but the address still appears as a suggestion in the address bar when I start typing its name. Thanks a lot for any help.

You can remove all data stored in Firefox for a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History -> Show All History" or "View -> Sidebar -> History").
Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox for this domain like history and cookies and passwords and exceptions and cache, so be cautious. If you have a password or other data for that domain that you do not want to lose, make sure to backup this data or make a note.
You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of involved files.
If you revisit a 'forgotten' website, data for that website will be saved once again.

Hello,
To prevent a specific address from appearing as a suggestion in the Firefox address bar, you can follow these steps:
Open Firefox on your desktop. Click on the menu button (three horizontal lines) in the top-right corner of the browser window. Select "Options" from the drop-down menu. In older versions of Firefox, it may be labeled as "Preferences." In the Options/Preferences tab, click on the "Privacy & Security" section. Scroll down to the "Address Bar" section. Look for the option "When using the address bar, suggest" and click on the "Edit" button next to it. A dialog box will appear where you can manage the suggestions. Find the specific address you want to prevent from appearing and select it. Click on the "Remove" button to delete the suggestion for that address. Once you have removed the suggestion, click "Save Changes" or "OK" to apply the settings. By following these steps, you should be able to prevent the specific address from appearing in the Firefox address bar as a suggestion.
I hope this helps! If you have any further questions or need assistance, please feel free to ask.
