Android 13 / Firefox 111.1.0

Since a short while it seems that Firefox for Android opens pdf-files directly in the browser instead of offering the download option (as it used to be). My Samsung Tab6 Light shows the pdf in compressed fonts, thus it is mostly unreadable. How can I download the pdf instead of viewing it? Or: How can I download the pdf to save it on my device? If I tap the opened pdf a function 'Share' is offered, but then when I try to share via Email nothing is shared!??

Thank you kindly for any support in this. Ueli (Switzerland)

Hi

When you are viewing the .pdf file, open the Firefox for Android menu, select the Share icon and select the option to save the page as .pdf - the file will be downloaded to your device.

Hello Paul Thank you, you made my day! I have not seen the share icon because it is located on the very top of the menue. This works just fine. Ueli
