Migrate history and bookmarks from old firefox to new (NOT Beta or Nightly)
I'm on the last version of old Firefox (68.1.1) on Android 8.0. Now the dust has largely settled on new Firefox, how do I migrate my history and bookmarks (plus any other settings possible) to the new incarnation? I've seen threads for Beta and Nightly but nothing for the straight old version to new. How is this done?
Thanks

Hi
If you sign into your Firefox Account on the old version, set up Firefox Sync, wait a short while (10 minutes should be fine), then sign into Firefox Sync using the same credentials in the current version, your bookmarks and other data should be syncced across.
Worth doing this soner rather than later as the old version of Firefox for Android is no longer supported.

Hi, Thanks for the reply and sorry for slow reaction.
On old Android Firefox I'm not seeing any Sync or scan facility. My other phone is telling me I need to add a second device, I already have 3 logged in. The master unit for Android = 1x Android 8.0 with FF68.1.1, PC Win10 with FF83.0 and another Android 9.0 with FF83.1.0.
I am unable to perform the instructions given here or at the Support page because the options don't seem to exist.
Really confused!
Update.
Finally found the Sync in the old FF, not even labeled/marked, just stumbled onto it. All is now synced, nice feature having the desktop bookmarks in a different folder BUT the synced bookmarks, for Android at least, come over in a completely different order to the original and we STILL can't sort them. At least the new version is a lot more usable than when it first imploded onto the scene ;-)
