Every day, I am mailed a newsletter full of links from Kaiser Health News. If I click on a link while viewing the email with Firefox at GMail, it works fine. But after I download the newsletter to my PC, open it with TB, and click on a link, the program immediately shuts down.

I have reported this several times through the popup error message. This does not happen under any other circumstance -- only with the KHN newsletter.

If somebody wants me to forward a copy, please reply with your email address.

Finally, please try to ask thoughtful questions and do your best not to guess.

The crash report id's would help so we can look at these previous reports.

The crashes point to an issue with Avast, and also this bug report re clicking certain links. If you disable any effect of Avast on TB, or better, run in Windows safe mode, see if TB still crashes.

The crash report cites other bugs related to Firefox opening links for certain domains, that are supposed to be fixed in Firefox 72. Those changes may not have made their way to the TB 68 branch.
