I need to find out user name and Firefox email with the info is not coming through. resending it didn't work either

I couldn't remember my Firefox user name I went through the steps and received confirmation email was sent. I didn't receive the email and repeating the request also produced no email. I double checked my email addres for possible errors but there were none.

I think there is a problem with your internet connection. Turn it off and wait for sometime and then again turn it on.

Hi,

Just a few things to try (if you haven't already) :

Check your spam filters or your spam folder.

Try to access your email from the webmail client, not your email software.

Check to make sure in your email settings that the [email protected] email is not flagged as spam.

Add [email protected] to your address book. This will make it a trusted email.

If you have tried all of the above, do not try to do this again until 24 hours have gone by, or else your account will be locked.

Assuming that you are talking about a Sync account : your email address is your username ......

I don't know if it's a sync account or not but I did try using my Email address and it said wrong answer. Thank you.

I turned off my WiFi as one person suggested but this didn't help. I have checked my spam folder and it's not there. Btw, I did find an email address for Firefox support and am hoping they will respond.

If you don't know, then apparantly you didn't mean to create a Firefox account (you only need an account for Sync and Mozilla Add-ons).

What exactly were you trying to do that you needed a username for  ?

I sent the email explaining the situation to [email protected]. It seems to have gone through as gmail didn't say it was undeliverable. I found the address in all my poking around and couldn't find it again for the life of me when I looked for it later.

But would you mind explaining the situation here, on the support forum  ? If you didn't mean to create a Sync account - what were/are you trying to do  ? In the header of your question you say that you need to find out what your username is ..... Here, on the support forum, your display name is sandy1960 - you can see what your username is when you click on your display name at the top of this page, between 'Contributor Tools' and 'Inbox'.
