We have made a lot of changes to make Firefox Quantum a much faster, more secure way to browse the web and as part of this took the opportunity to modernise the front end to make it easier to use.

On the contrary, FireFox use to be good, and this new it is BS. Change it back.

I specifically configured it to NOT do this, and it went ahead and did it anyway. THEN it had this stupid thing called pocket. Guess what? Never asked nor wanted it.

Layout is messed up. Colors look terrible. Icon looks terrible. Performance is now terrible.

Support is equally as terrible. and sure, I'll admit my part that I was being. I understand that. But can you understand WHY I am mad? When someone SPECIFICALLY edits settings to circumvent this EXACT scenario as I know how hot-headed and stubborn I can be.

THEN on top of that having tickets CONTINUALLY closed instead of starting a dialogue.

Make it easier?

So why is it I cant remove pocket? I can only hide it? Thats not easy in the slightest.

AND the new tab views are screwed up.

I am trying REALLY hard to be civil, but i am FUMING right now.

Firefox Quantum is the fastest, most secure Firefox yet. This has been off the back of a lot of work, done in the open by many people, to make sure that this is the best Firefox yet - and many people are enjoying using it to browse the web.

You can alter the colours using themes and can customise the toolbar using the options in Firefox Quantum and can set your own home page in about:preferences (also available from the three bar "hamburger" menu).

Many people are enjoying it? Not from what I've seen.

@Fish, then what sense does it make having the "official support" lead to a forum with volunteers who just close tickets and call them solved when they arent? That is insane. I have seen TONS of people just as if not more upset that it forced this transition that a LOT of us never wanted, didnt ask for, didnt require, ESPECIALLY what ever the hell Pocket is, and SPECIFICALLY CONFIGURED FF TO NOT UPDATE but are FORCED to do so anyhow. SOME of us have software that have requirements.

Let's take this one at a time. What is it about the layout that is messed up specifically?

We don't take too kindly to being verbally abused and it seems like you were hostile. I see in our Disabled users log that two of your profiles were deactivated (ItsBildo and ItsBildo1) because you were using bad language in a support forum after being warned and were making disparaging comments about another contributor who tried to assist you. Try to get your point across without cursing up a storm and being rude to others.

Totally understand your frustration, but these are aethetic issues. Developers have worked hard and tried their best to please everybody, which is near to impossible. What one likes - the other dislikes. What one loves - the other hates.

Performance is now terrible.

Now, here's something that people here might be able to help you with : Could you be a bit more specific, though  ?
