Some protection programs don't like the update/install stubs. Go here for the full installer.

Thank you for your help. I actually used this full installer when I went through all my steps. However, it didn't work.

Fred, I meant to say that the full installer helped me launch Firefox in Safe mode. However, I am still unable to launch Firefox in regular mode. I am still stuck. Vivian

I assume you got the 64-bit Firefox installer.

Did you remove the 64-bit Firefox installation folder as well?

  • (64-bit Firefox) "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\"
  • (32-bit Firefox) "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\"

Corel, Thank you. I used the 64 bit installer. I don't remember if I uninstalled both the 32 bit and 64 bit file folders. I will check this out when I am back in the office mid-week. Vivian
