NEW Aspire ES-575 with Windows 10 has an issue with Firefox 48.0.2 displaying misc. lines and square

Laptop came with Windows 10 and Firefox installed. Even after Windows and Firefox update the problem still exixts. Don't have the same problem with Edge and Opera. I have even removed Firefox and downloaded and reinstalled from the Mozilla website. Can't determine if it's an Acer or Firefox issue. Display driver appears to be up to date. I also have an old Dell laptop I upgraded to Windows 10 with Firefox that doesn't have this problem.

I installed Cumulative Update For Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems (KB3189866) on9/13/2016. I still have the same issue. Also running latest version of Firefox 48.0.2

Any help would be appreciated.

hello, maybe that's an issue with hardware acceleration - please try updating your graphics driver, or in case this doesn't solve the issue or there is no new version available at the moment, disable hardware acceleration in the firefox menu ≡ > options > advanced > general (that setting will take a restart of the browser to take effect).

I have the latest driver, but disabling hardware acceleration seems to have fixed the problem.

Thanks
