master password is too slow coming up
It takes the master password a good 5 seconds or more before it comes on screen, by then, I have already accessed an item on my menu bar. Is there a way to speed up the time it takes the master password screen to come up?
I am using Windows 7 & Firefox 34.0.5.

Having more than one version of a program may cause issues.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift (Mac Options) > key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?
Thanks FredMcD for pointing this out to me. It didn't solve the problem, but it was good to know, as I hadn't noticed it.

I think I may have jumped the gun. After using it for awhile I noticed I cannot get too far into anything on Firefox, without the master password popping up.

Type about:config<Enter> in the address bar. If a warning screen comes up, press the Be Careful button. This is where Firefox finds information it needs to run. At the top of the screen is a search bar. Set these values;
security.ask_for_password = 1
security.password_lifetime = 30
I think this means 30 minutes. I think zero means not to ask again.
Those two pref are SeaMonkey only and are not supported by Firefox.
