Why does my account not have a "Sent" icon?

I have several accounts set up on Thunderbird 52.6.0. I just set up a new account; it does not have a "Sent" icon to store copies of sent messages. In fact, the number and types of icons seems to vary with each account. Why?

For example, "Trash" is represented by a trash can icon on some accounts, and by a file folder icon on others. And some accounts have a "Sent Messages" folder, and others have a "Sent Items" folder, and some don't have either one.

Also, is there a way to change the order of the email accounts on the left side of the window?

Check your account settings where your sent messages should be copied to. Then try to send a message. Typically the Sent folder is created when needed.
