How do I permanently disable Junk mail controls?
I am really fed up with the mandatory junk mail controls on Thunderbird. I want to permanently remove the junk mail DLL code from my computer so that it will be impossible for it to run without my permission. I unchecked the "Enable adaptive Junk Mail" checkbox on all my accounts and this has no effect. The problem is that the Junk mail controls are still active and numerous emails end up in the junk mail folder that are not junk. I have to regularly look in that folder (which defeats the purpose) for legitimate emails. That is not the only problem. In addition to not accepting my instructions to disable junk mail processing, it refuses to accept my demand to declare an email as "NOT JUNK".
Today, for example, I find an important email in my junk folder (which should never have gone there in the first place because all the Junk processing checkboxes are unchecked) and I immediately click on "NOT JUNK". It then sent the email back to the inbox where I went to read it. Then, a moment later, it suddenly marks it as JUNK MAIL again and gives me the option to click "NOT JUNK" once again. I do and the process repeats forever.
I thought maybe this was a bug so I upgraded to the latest which is version 45.5.0. No difference. Junk mail controls are all turned off and it keeps doing them anyway.
How do I fix this? I am thinking that there might be a .DLL or something I can delete. I don't want to "suggest" that it stop using adaptive mail controls, I want to remove the DLL so that it will be impossible for it to send my legitimate email to the junk folder (which gets auto deleted if I don't catch it in time).

Sure your mail provider isn't doing this? Move the message to a different folder e.g. Inbox on Local Folders and see it it stays put.
I have seen this behaviour on an outlook.com account.
Is the message classified as Junk i.e. orange flame icon, or is it just moved to the Junk folder?
The icon would say that Thunderbird is choosing to classify it as Junk. Just moving without being labelled as Junk suggests some external agency is at work.
Yes, it does put an orange flame by it when it marks it as JUNK MAIL. Once I hit "NOT JUNK from the junk mail folder, it puts it back in the Inbox folder. However, even though it persists in marking it JUNK MAIL with a flame, it does not put it back in the junk folder - so it remains in the Inbox folder with an orange flame.
I am not certain, but it is possible that this is an encrypted message. I found "X-Barracuda-Encrypted: ECDHE-RSA-AES256-SHA384" in the email headers. I'm not sure if that makes a difference.
I wont say its impossible for the email provider to be playing games. I'm using yahoo. I moved the email to another email account and it didn't change to an orange flame junk mail after I waited several minutes. I moved it back to the yahoo Inbox and it still hasn't turned back into an orange flame junk mail.
I do know for a fact that yahoo does move some of the email into the junk mail folder on their own, but those emails lack the orange flame as you mentioned.
Right now, in my "BULK MAIL" folder (that is what yahoo uses for the junk mail folder) there is a mix of flamed and non-flamed emails in there. Most are junk, but not all. I am reasonably certain that only Thunderbird puts the flamed emails in there.
Update: After I posted the above response - after which I had moved the offending email to another account and then back again - I clicked on the email to read it only to discover that it was not the same email. It shows up in the listing with the same headers, but when I click on it, it displays a totally different email from a different sender (from 2014).
