The body of my emails in my inbox have disappeared. Only the sender info is showing up. What happened?
I was attempting to reply to any earlier e-mail and the original message would not reveal itself, therefore I canceled the operation and attempted to do it again. Did this three times with same result. Replied with a new message instead and successfully sent it out. I went back into my inbox, highlighted a message, but the message body did not reveal itself. I have 7 messages in the inbox, all of which I had reviewed previously but now all seven are hidden.I have no issue opening any messages in my Trash, Files, Sent, etc folders. I am getting an error code concerning my authority to write to the inbox. What's up?

I am getting an error code concerning my authority to write to the inbox.
What exact error do you get?
ERROR MESSAGE: Unable to write the email to the mailbox. Make sure the file system allows you write privileges, and you have enough disk space to copy the mail.
Have you checked write privileges and disk space?
It's possible that your mail files got corrupted. First of all, create a full profile backup. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Thunderbird_:_FAQs_:_Backing_Up_and_Restoring
Then try to rebuild the index file of the troubled folder. Right-click the folder - Properties - Repair Folder
Note: depending on the corruption this may erase messages from the affected folder which cannot be recovered anymore. In that case you'd need to restore them from a recent backup, assuming they still did exist at the time of the backup.
Corruption is often caused by anti-virus software messing with Thunderbird mail files. It is therefore recommended to create an exception for the Thunderbird profile folder, so that the real-time scanner won't attempt to scan the profile with your mail.
For more information on the profile location see http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Thunderbird
