How do I adjust the number of lines scrolled when clicking the up/down buttons? NOT the mousewheel, specifically the buttons.

The up/down keys before this latest update (v.10.0, 3 Feb '12) scrolled my page up/down by one line. Now, they skip almost four lines. I hate it and I want to go back to the original, but I can't seem to find the option for this anywhere in about:config - there's only options for mousewheel scrolling, which I don't care about. How do I make the up/down keys move my pages up/down ONLY one line at a time?

Hi,

After setting mousewheel.withnokey.action to 1, you also have to change the value of mousewheel.withnokey.numlines.

Hi terradune, sorry about the previous answer. I misread the question. It looks like there are no options for that in Firefox. It could be OS/keyboard settings dependent. Please also see:

You may have switched on caret browsing.

You can press press F7 (on Mac: fn + F7) to toggle caret browsing on/off.
