I am unable to send any messages. Getting this error message - An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: Resources restricted from 69.115.218.69 - try again later (AA,31).

It will list whatever address I am sending to or one off of a group. If I delete the one address it lists out of a group I get the same message with a new address cited.

Any suggestions?

While cleaning up email to get rid of the large amount of junk I sort by correspondent. This allows me to select several of the mostly junk emails together to delete them. I highlight the first email I want to delete, go to the last one and hit shift and click. Sometimes that can be over a hundred or so emails to delete at once. After selecting delete, sometimes they don't all delete. The email is no longer bolded as though I had read it, but only a portion of the selected actually delete. It sometimes takes 2, 3 or more times of selecting them to get them to all delete. This has just been recently, within the past few months that I have noticed this. Not a terrible problem, but curious as to why this happens.

I had been happily using Tbird for many years. In mid February, when I tried to open my inbox, the message was "inbox in use for some other operation". If it was in use, I did not know about it. Then the message changed to "Thunderbird has crashed". I tried again many times over a few months but got the same results. I've just about been coping using webmail but with much grinding of teeth. Today when I tried again, there was no message and no inbox. I've also tried opening a 2nd Tbird account but got nowhere. Does anyone have any suggestions please? Thanks, Richard>

Ive recently started using Thunderbird and its setup with my Gmail account.

When i try and search from the search bar, on outlook i used to be able to search within the PDF document so if i had alot of invoices with the same product on it say 'TBA123' as the product code it would bring all the documents with that in the PDF, is this something that should work on Thunderbird?

I am experiencing an issue with my PEC mailbox configured in Thunderbird. In the sender column, an incorrect email address often appears, unrelated to the actual sender of the received email. In some cases, I see the phrase "on behalf of:" followed by an email address that has no connection to the message in question.

This issue makes it difficult to correctly identify the real sender of emails. I have already checked my account configuration and updated Thunderbird to the latest version, but the problem persists.

Could you please provide guidance on how to resolve this behavior?

Hello, what is the error in the mail, the mail does not connect, what to do, it throws the following note: The time for connecting to the server imap.ivairiosdurys.lt has expired.

modzilla email error on ubuntu: The Local Directory path "/home/peter/.thunderbird/n4rpxwpa.default-esr/modzilla mail client error: Mail/pop3.wa.exemail.com-1.au" is invalid. Please pick a different directory.

TB stopped downloading emails from the Yahoo server. I still could send emails. I moved all emails from all TB folders (Inbox, trash, etc) to Local folders, deleted the profile. Redid the profile. Now TB still doesn't download emails. I get the message "The account [email protected] is being processed. Please wait until processing is complete to get messages." AND now I can't send emails either.

Unable to send emails from my Laptop. Drop down box says "Outgoing server (SMTP) failed. I have compared settings on PC and are the same as the laptop. Have contacted my server provider and that is all ok. Can send emails from Optus webmail, but not from Thunderbird. Can send emails from the PC and that has Thunderbird also.

My email hosting provider is is using mailchannels spam filter for outbound email, and after I switched from K9 to Thunderbird (Android) all my outgoing emails are being marked as spam and blocked. I have a ongoing case logged with them but checking if any one has any advice or has similar issues?

Note k9 works fine, I'm guessing they are confused with headers from PC vs mobile version

I had had issues with gloda (search) for a long while. I have tried deleting the sqlite file to force a reindex as per the guidance. I am watching Activity Monitor in TB after reopening, to monitor the reindex process. But it hangs every time. it goes through sent items and seems to get stuck at one point every time. Is it possible to copy Tunderbird email files to the computer's documents. Our server uses POP, so they can only be accessed on my PC and not other devices. Thanx.

I am using a Mac with Big Sur (macOS Monterey Version 12.7.6), and my email is POP, using Thunderbird Version 128.4.2esr. My incoming messages are sorted in reverse order so that the latest message is listed first. I retrieve the message headers first then I either delete the message or download the contents of the message. The problem is that when I click on the download instructions Thunderbird does download the message OK, '''BUT it highlights the message just downloaded and it jumps to the next message. '''This is very annoying because in order to read the contents of the message I have to go back one message and purposely select the message just downloaded. It did not do this previously. Please correct or tell me the corrective action I should take.

The global search in TB is completely defective. I am now running 128.2.0esr and hoped that update might fix it. It hasn't. I just wonder, are there any older or non ESR versions I can downgrade/move to, where the search is fully functional?

I have for many years moved relevant email messages from my inbox to an archive folder. My wife who also uses Thunderbird does the same.

Some time in the not too distant past Thunderbird has started preventing me from moving files from folder to folder.

I am running the latest version of Thunderbird.

I accidentally moved a folder into another folder, when I tried to move it back into the main folder tree it disappeared. The folder and data is still there but it simply does not show up. It's a folder used to temporarily store emails to be replied later on (AA-TO Reply).

I have created a 2nd folder AA-TO Reply2 and searching for stuff I have in the other folder I can find some and copy them to the new folder but I can't remember all that I have.

If i search say for Physiotherapy (I have an appointment next week) I could find the email and it shows up as being in the AA-TO Reply (the one that has disappeared) but can't find a way to make it visible again.

There are no folders showing as having another sub folder inside them ( with a >).

Hello Folks Incoming email is posted directly to my Trash folder and not to my Inbox on my Thunderbird program. Can anyone help me with this problem please? Terry O [email protected]

Please Help Me. Have been a Thunderbird user for over 10 years. I have "new" desktop with windows 11. when setting up my thunderbird account for my three email accounts the gmail setup when fine, but the other two accounts will not SEND emails. All settings are same for incoming and outgoing SMTP. Have spoken with TWC and confirmed the settings and they said it's on your end. Please Help! thanks.Mike
