I am unable to change my home page. Each time I change it, it reverts back to http://search.bearshare.com/. How can I permanetly change the starting page?

I am unable to permanently change my starting/home page. I am able to change it using the Firefox 'Options' tool. However, it always reverts back to http://search.bearshare.com/. How can I permanently change it?
