I am attempting to create a collection of Firefox addons together.
When I try to edit the description, I continue to get, "There are errors in this form. Please correct them below." and nothing is saved.

I can't quite pinpoint the exact cause of this, but it has something to do with the description of the collection. Try changing the description to something short and see if that works. Then try lengthening it until you figure out what could be causing the error. Not certain, but it may be any improperly spelled words.
