I just switched to a new HP laptop running Windows 7. For some reason, the New York Times home page will not display correctly.

The top appears- with the name of paper and date- and then there is a huge gap before the news stories begin. Then there is another gap between the lead stories and "Inside NYTimes.com, and between the latter and the categories of stories (eg world, U.S., politics, etc.)

This issue does not appear when looking at any other website so far, nor is it a problem with IE.

Reset the page zoom on websites that look wrong: "View > Zoom > Reset" (Ctrl + 0 (zero))
See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Zoom_text_of_web_pages
See Font size and zoom - increase the size of web pages and Font size and zoom - increase the size of web pages and Change the fonts and colors websites use

If you increased the minimum font size then try a lower setting (default is none) as a too high value can cause issues like you described.

This is only a problem with Firefox. The problem does not exist with other browsers, i.e. Safari.

Zoom In worked.

I have the same problem. Have cleared cache and cookies, reset zoom, lowered my font size to 13, disabled adblock (and all the former filters) and I STILL do not get the NY Times to display properly. I have tried all the suggestions I could find online and nothing has worked. If I use IE the Times displays perfectly, so I have to assume it's a problem between Firefox and The NY Times. No one has an answer for this problem?
