Espacenet, a patent site, says I can't download patents into my Firefox unless Firefox is setup to accept cookies from their site. How do I do that? I have version 78.0.a (x64 en us). Thank you, Joe Mangino Jr. [email protected]

If you would be able to find the time, I sure would appreciate it. I am on a deadline.

Sorry if this post came through twice.

Thank you,

Joe Mangino Jr.

Note that this might be about third-party cookies and you may have to create a cookie allow exception for a specific third-party domain.

Firefox shows a purple shield icon at the left end of the location/address bar in case Tracking Protection is blocking content. You can click shield icon for more detail and possibly disable the protection. You can check the Web Console for possible messages about blocked content.

Hello Joe,

When you're on the site in question, click on the padlock at the left side of the address bar.

Then click on the little black arrow on the dropdown (next to "Connection") and then on "More Information".

Click on the 'Permissions" tab and scroll down to "Set Cookies".
Uncheck   "Use Default"   and check   "Allow".

Then close and restart Firefox.
