The last three days I've gotten a 'Firefox' Fix - what do I do with it?
I keep getting this full page screen that looks like Firefox and it tells me to download and install right away. When I looked at the URL I became suspicious - I'd never heard of it - part of it is this - The name I can see in the long name is - kuteiinterstitial.org/
Has anyone heard of this organization, I tried to Google it and it didn't find anything..
My machine is a Lenovo Ideapad i5- 3210M CPU @ 2.50 GHz; Windows 10 Home, Version 1511; 64 bit OS and x64 based processor; 8.0 GB RAM installed
Thank you for your time, jane

Numerous users are reporting malware redirects to a fake firefox_patch file on several different, possibly frequently changing, servers.
If it was one of those, you can report the site as a malware source and trademark violator.

i think it is malware but I wasn't positive the URL seemed like an unlikely site for Firefox to use especially with the medical reference to interstitial. Thank you for letting me know where to report it.
Have a great evening... j
Normally these sites with fake firefox update or patch .exe come and go but in the last while the individual(s) behind this has been more aggressive.
The desktop Firefox updates are done internally in Firefox with its own secure way whether on Windows, Mac OSX or Linux or by download from mozilla.org or www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ and not from random websites with weird names.
