Google search on Firefox never stops loading the next page. Everytime when it hits the bottom, it loads next page. This event does not exist on Chrome. I want to have a bottom end, by the way I hate Facebook style. How can I get rid of this situation. Thank you.

O.K., guys. I found it. It's an add-ons called "betterFox", I have to change its preferences like the image below.

Thank you for being my company. It's late night in Bangkok.

Good night ;)

Thanks for your help, but it still can't solve the problem. I'm using Linux and the problem as the attached image.

Did you check your extensions?

I see a Mint Search Enhancer extension listed in the System Detail list.

You can also try to disable instant search via the Google setting page.

I have tried that, but couldn't help. Thank you.

It has to be caused by one of your extension. Did you check the settings of "betterFox" to see whether its "search refinements" could be relevant? Also disabled the Superfish features which some consider to be spyware?

Either:

  • Ctrl+Shift+a
  • "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons

In the left column, click Extensions. Then on the right side look for an Options button for "betterFox" or just Disable it.
