That was well done. The crash report flagged these programs;
PCSC = unknown (security ?)
libsystem_kernel.dylib = ? Word for Mac
libcvP11.dylib = unknown
libxpc.dylib = unknown
AppKit
CoreFoundation
I've called the big guys to help you. Good luck.
I do not understand Macs, and will leave this to others However it is a shutdown hang involving ::RunWatchdog that usually indicates a shutdown has failed and Firefox timed out and forced a crash.
Does this happen when you try to shutdown Firefox yourself or does Firefox itself freeze and crash ?

Hello FredMcD and John 99,
Thanks for your quick answers.
I believe the dylib threads are all related to FireFox (I might be mistaken ?)
PCSC seems to be related to the PCSC framework. It's the framework for SmartCard on OS X.
The crash log is generated when I quit Firefox.
Regards,
Try to set plugins to "Ask to Activate" on the "Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Plugins" page.
In case you use "Clear history when Firefox closes" then try to disable this feature.
- Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history": [X] "Clear history when Firefox closes" > Settings
- https://support.mozilla.org/kb/remove-recent-browsing-search-and-download-history
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problem.
See "Creating a profile":
- https://support.mozilla.org/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles
- http://kb.mozillazine.org/Standard_diagnostic_-_Firefox#Profile_issues
If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.
