How do I stop italics on unread tabs?

I'm using Firefox 9.0.1 on Vista. A few days ago, I suddenly noticed that the titles of unread tabs were italicized. I'm assuming this is a setting somewhere, but I have no idea how this got started or how I make it stop. I'm sure it wasn't doing it before a few days ago. I don't think I installed any new add-ons or extensions or changed any settings, that I can recall, but maybe something updated automatically and changed something.

Does anyone have any idea why it suddenly started doing this and, most important, how I can make it stop italicizing the tab titles? Thanks in advance!

That feature is probably added by a tab related extension.
So check out your extension if you do not know which one has added it.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Thanks, I'll try that.

It seems to be the Walnut2 theme, which I've used for many years (and love!). I'm certain it never did this until a few days ago (and there was an update at that time). I've emailed the creator and haven't heard anything back yet. Hopefully he's working on it and it will be fixed. :-)
