Farmville will not load using Firefox, but it will with IE, for over a week now. I have cleared the cache and cookies multiple times, updated flash player, did a virus and malware scan, allowed java script, allowed mozilla in the Windows firewall, contacted Zynga multiple times, and yet Farmville still will not load using Firefox, my main and preferred browser. I'm very frustrated and want this fixed.

Thanks for the advice cor-el, but if you would read the info I posted, I already did that, SEVERAL TIMES. That's not the solution unfortunately.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

You can also do a malware check with some malware scanning programs.
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

I had already installed and scanned the computer with the super anti spyware and window defender, but now I've completed the rest of the malwares, as well the other 3 links listed above, and I still cannot get Farmville to load using Firefox. I have filed multiple bug reports with Zynga, and they're supposedly working on it, but I was hoping it was something I could fix on my end to end the frustration I'm having. Perhaps it's something on their end afterall.

I don't know if my problem is the same or different. For the past several weeks, I have been unable to get into Farmville using Firefox (my default browser). As soon as the game tries to start loading, a blank window pops up on the right side of the screen that seems to be trying to connect to Facebook, after which the FV splash screen blanks out and starts over. This repeats ad infinitum until I exit the tab.

When Ver 12 became available for Firefox and I installed it, hoping the problem would be fixed, but it was not. I have cleared cache and updated my flash after this began, but it did not help. I have Spybot on my computer, so I doubt it is a malware issue. It loads fine on Chrome, so now I have to use that to play and I don't like it as well. I am working with Zynga on this as well, but they don't seem to have any idea what is causing it. They just told me to use Chrome.

You can try to disable forcing a secure connection in Facebook.

Thanks, Cor-el. It sounded like a good idea, but it didn't make any difference to the problem. Judy
