You could set up a filter in Thunderbird: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/organize-your-messages-using-filters For example you could forward all incoming mail to another address, or place a copy of it in a folder in your Gmail account. However I'm a bit concerned by "when I am on the move". Thunderbird filters can only work while Thunderbird is running. So if you have Thunderbird installed on your PC at home, you would have to leave the PC running permanently while you are away: had you realised that?
