Why will my mobile bookmarks not update via the sync when I have followed all instructions correctly?

I have followed the guide given firstly by unsyncing my accounts and checking that I have up to date firefox on both pc and mobile device (which I do). I then re-signed in and selected sync. That didn't work. So I said 'sync now' from both pc and mobile. Still didn't work.

I then deleted my firefox account, made new accounts and followed all the steps. My mobile is still not updated. It hasn't synced for weeks :(

Did you checked that both where sync having new version ? If any of old sync then unlike it and update to new sync version. This can be checked with login method . If you are using email id and password for login then it means you are on new sync. apart from this if you still use device codes then it will be old sync version. So Update Sync on both of devices.

after that update your sync version by following steps : 1)unlink sync from both devices 2)update all your devices to latest firefox. 3)create an account on both devices. 4)Sign in on both device.
