Had a trojan. Got it deleted. Now, only for the user originally infected, Firefox won't open. When clicked, window opens asking which program I want to use to open firefox.exe. Huh? Opens & works fine for other users. How do I fix this? Can I recover this user's bookmarks?

That likely means the virus infection wasn't completely cleaned up. Nowadays many trojans infect all .exe files by modifying the "program" that opens exe files. Sounds like these registry keys are still corrupted.
