Hello,

Would you please take a look at :

Use the Firefox Sidebar to access bookmarks, history and synced tabs

Would that do what you want, or does it not even come close  ?

McCoy, thank you.

Use the Firefox Sidebar to access bookmarks ---------- it comes close, I had it before. And I moved it to the right.

But it displays all bookmarks that are in the Library (I need only a few specific ones there. And comparing to Chrome "other bookmarks" I have to make a few more clicks every time I use it.

As I use it often "a few more clicks every time" becomes a huge waste of time.

I must admit that I have no idea if what you want is possible - I searched and I searched for a way to do that, but to no avail .....

But maybe somebody else will see this and come up with the perfect solution for you (fingers crossed ....).

If not : maybe you could ask the developer(s) of that Chrome extension to submit his extension to addons.mozilla.org (?)

The Other Bookmarks folder is a so called smart folder that has this places query as the location.

Location: place:folder=UNFILED_BOOKMARKS

Close and restart Firefox to make this bookmark work as a smart folder.

You can create a new bookmark and give it a suitable name and paste the above posted query in the location field. I don't know how to pin this bookmark at the right end because this would require a flexible space and this item is only available for a toolbar. If you would place too many items on the Bookmarks Toolbar then this bookmark might be moved to the overflow area (>>). You can consider to place this bookmark at the far left instead.
