I was looking for a bookmark, and came upon one folder titled: "Other Bookmarks", that has over 4,000 inside! It's shown as being a folder under the "All Bookmarks" heading, so it's not imported from anywhere, and it's not in the main Bookmarks Toolbar folder, although it does sit on the toolbar, but all the way over to the right hand side, off by itself. So who created it, why is it sitting where it sits, and who loaded 4,000+ bookmarks in it???

Other Bookmarks was the default folder for new bookmarks since Firefox 57. (In Firefox 4-56, it was the default folder if you added a bookmark by clicking the star icon.) Recently Firefox changed to using the last folder you saved in as the default folder for new bookmarks.

Unless someone else has been using your Firefox, I think those are your bookmarks.

Thanks, I'd wondered what happened to bookmarks that I didn't get the chance to select what folder they were to go to.... And I've noticed that they do use the last folder used as the default, which makes far more sense.... thanks.
