The website smartgpseco.com requires a plug in that you download from the site so that I can update my Magellan GPS. The plug in downloads and I can get it to execute. It will work in Chrome but not Firefox 61.0.1 I turned of McAfee . The download is labelled http://mgn-prod-pcapps.s3.amazonaws.com/ and is an MSI

Hi, it is possible that Firefox when it changed to ver 57 that when all the add-ons and plugins that were not changed to the new format API of making them that this type of plug-in no longer works.

Please see article below as it sort of explains in easy terms the whys and you can then find out if they have a version that works with Firefox or that there is a issue with Firefox and the plugin.

Does not work with 57 ESR either. Worked a couple of months ago when I last used it but not now
