I cannot access any web pages that require a log in when using Firefox
Running Firefox v48.0.2 on Windows 7 I get the following error message:- Secure Connection Failed. The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
I couldn't even log in to this forum on Firefox!
I've followed several trouble shooting suggestions which haven't had any effect. Clear History Clear Cookies Checked Firewall (McAfee) is allowing Firefox access. Altered a couple of dns settings as instructed by Mozilla Help.
IE is working fine, allowing me access to all sites.

There is security software like Avast, Kaspersky, BitDefender and ESET that intercept secure connections and send their own certificate.

This Connection is Untrusted is sometimes caused because the computer system clock is wrong. Check the time / date / time zone settings.
Nothing to do with Security software. I disabled it and still the same issues.
