Firefox fails to open the appropriate app based on the link like Google play, youtube... instead it shows a pop-up "this link needs to be opened with an application"
How do I fix this?

no. chrome works fine
What is the link file? Could you tell us what you are trying to access? Thanks!
if I open that link on firefox for android I get that message. If I open it on Chrome, it opens Play Store app for me.
