Why is one of my autofill options for "Username" on a particular site the name of one of my neighbors?
Using FF 8.0.1 on OS X.6.8 (ff sync enabled), last night I accessed www.sudokulive.net/hmailer/register.php and discovered that one of the autofill options was the name of a neighbor. She doesn't live close enough to piggyback on my wifi, and the autofill does not show up that way if I access from Safari. The problem is replicable. Should I panic?

Tis the season to be cautious; It only takes a minute to change the administrative password on your router. Using a laptop I can pick up most of my neighbors Wi-fi. Many people do not change their router access security password from the original password in place at installation. The original password is NOT a secret, it's the same for all routers by brand. http://rancidtaste.hubpages.com/hub/CISCO-Router-Password-Default-Password-for-CISCO-Router

Maybe she once has used your computer?
- Click the (empty) input field on the web page to open the drop down list
- Highlight an entry in the drop down list
- Press the Delete key (on Mac: Shift+Delete) to remove it.
Logical, but absolutely not. These are not the best possible neighbors, IYCMD.

Thx. Did that first thing. I rotate passwords regularly. But I'm still curious about how the name got lodged in FF autofill in the first place.
