Hi all,

I use Tbird on Mac. I want to use a simple animated gif in the html of my email signature - attached. For some reason this image wont load when I create a new message. When I test the gif by adding inline to the body of a message it works fine, which makes this perplexing. When I use a static version of the same image (hosted on same server) in my sig, it also works fine. The img path is valid: https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0608/8812/1543/files/cay-skin-signature.gif

Does Thunderbird Mac OS block, or not permit, animated gifs in signatures? Why? Since the entire message of

a Tbird email is one continuous html file I cant figure out how it could even do this.

Also attaching my signature code for reference.

ty to anyone who could help!
