I have a Nokia Phone using Windows 8 but cannot get my emails - Error Code 80072F30. Searching on the web a possible solution suggested is to add the port numbers for the incoming and outgoing email servers. Looking at Thunderbirds Account Settings I can see the incoming server is using port 110, but cannot find the outgoing server port, hence my question. It may not solve my problem but its worth a try. Any other suggestions gratefully received.

Thanks for your reply, and apologies for the delay getting back to you. I have followed your advice, but unfortunately its still not working. Its clearly nothing to do with Thunderbird so I'll mark this as solved on here, and thanks again for your assistance.

Your provider configures their server and sets the ports. You need to look at the SMTP settings in Thunderbird for outgoing server ports.
