bookmarks keep deleting and randomly reappearing
I currently sync bookmarks across 3 computers and my ipad. Recently, bookmarks seems to be disappearing randomly. Sometimes whole folders, sometimes the folder remains but is empty. On other occassions after I recreate the bookmark, they randomly appear but in a completely different order. Today, they have duplicated randomly so I have numerous folders with the same name appear in my bookmarks, I'm guessing as a result of me recreating them when they have disappeared.
I am the only person with access to these computers.
Can you please help as it's getting extremely annoying.

What are you using to sync all the devices? and are you on the same version of sync on all the devices?
The new sync will not work with the ipad currently. This might have to do with it. If you find that not all of the devices are on the same version (older one will ask to pair the device and the newer one will ask you to login)

You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder.

Best is always to disconnect Sync temporarily when trying to repair places.sqlite.
I've checked and all my pc and android versions are already up to date, so I've disconnected sync and restored the bookmarks from December and that has righted everything. Like you say I'm guessing it's the ipad causing the issue.
Is there any way to check this and can I disconnect the ipad version from sync as the instruction only mention windows and android?
What are you using for the ipad sync?
