First, could you check a possible plugin issue:

In your "More System Details" one of your plugins has this description "This plug-in enables downloading of Flash videos". Which plugin is that?

Firefox 30 switched most plugins from running any time a site asked for them to requiring your permission to run. You may have noticed this when a bar appears asking whether a site can use a particular plugin. Some plugins meant to run in the background do not work well in this configuration, and you may be able to fix that as follows. Not sure this is your issue but it's worth a try.

Open the Add-ons page using either:

  • Ctrl+Shift+a
  • "3-bar" menu button (o rTools menu) > Add-ons

In the left column, click Plugins. Then find the one(s) you want to switch and change from "Ask to Activate" to either "Always Activate" or "Never Activate". You may need to exit and start Firefox up again before this takes effect.

There are four reports that were "linkified" in your list:

The most recent relates to Flash. Suggestions further down this thread:

The next two seem related to reading/processing a proxy auto-config (PAC) file. Does that make sense in your configuration?

Could you test in Firefox's Safe Mode? That's a standard diagnostic tool to deactivate extensions and some advanced features of Firefox. More info: Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode.

You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using either:

  • "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
  • Help menu > Restart with Add-ons Disabled

Not all add-ons are disabled: Flash and other plugins still run

After Firefox shuts down, a small dialog should appear. Click "Start in Safe Mode" (not Reset).

Any difference?

If the Flash problem persists in Safe Mode, this is some standard guidance that addresses the most common issues with the Flash Player plugin, separate from extensions. I'm sure you've seen some of it before, but just in case:

(1) Disable hardware acceleration in Flash

See this support article from Adobe: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/video-playback-issues.html#main_Solve_video_playback_issues

(2) Disable the protected mode feature

You can do this by creating or editing a settings file. The following pages/posts provide different ways to do that:

Flash needs to completely unload from memory (exiting and starting Firefox up again might help) before this takes effect.
