mozilla ver 19.0 is not connecting ipv6 url request through "https://" connection
Hi ,
I am trying the below explained scenario using Windows XP,Windows 7 desktop & Mozilla 19.0
I am trying to connect IPv6 url through "https://" connection ;but the request is not forwarding even after stopping the firewall.
The connection does not establish even after following the below steps :
1.Tools->options->Advance->Network->setting->select NO proxy->ok 2.In the Location bar, type about:config and press Enter network.dns.disablePrefetch;true network.dns.disableIPv6;false
Note:- For same case "http://ipv6url/ ..." is working fine ( IE , chrome is working fine for both http and https only faceing issue in mozilla)
Does anyone happens to know the steps to make it work??
Thanks

would updating to Firefox 22 through firefox > Help > About > Check for updates
After upgrading Mozilla to version 22.0 also there is no improvement on issue!!
what is the website url?
We are using an IPv6 address i.e specific to our device with in the intranet and the same url is working fine in Mozilla version 3.6.5 ,IE,chrome but not working in latest Mozilla version!!
The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information. Note: This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.
To Reset Firefox do the following:
- Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
- Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
- Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
- Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.
Further information can be found in the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article.

Hi, After doing "Reset Firefox" also the problem is not resolved.
It might just not be supported, or not compatible with the gecko engine.
There is no development on issue... Could any one please answer !!!
Thanks in Advance
