Why when I click on links do I get a message, "Locate Link Browser?"
For some reason, when I try to click on a link in Outlook Express, this window pops up telling me to "Locate Link Browser." From some things I've read, I think that this might have something to do with Firefox, but I'm not sure. I've had Firefox for a while and had no problems. This just started today, completely out of the blue.
One thing I'm wondering is, my task manager had been disabled and last night I downloaded a program to fix it. I don't really think it's connected, but that's the only thing I can think of that has been changed but I only noticed this new problem this afternoon.
This happened
Every time Firefox opened

I have the same problem and I have followed the steps at http://kb.mozillazine.org/Windows_error_opening_Internet_short... to no avail. I have Windows 7 32 bit, Outlook 2003, and Firefox 3.6.6 installed. I even set IE8 to be the default browser and then opened Firefox and answered yest to make it the default browser and still get the "Locate Link Browser" dialog when clicking a link in Outlook 2003.
Any other suggestions.
I finally just went to "System Restore" and set my entire system back to the most recent restore point. The problem went away. Everything is fine now.
