I am getting notices to upgrade Fox Mozilla, but, I understand that I won't be able to use my Norton Antivirus. I have to keep that. What should I do?
Could I download the update for Foxfire, and still run Norton antivirus in the background, and use Norton on my searchbar? Also, at the present time, live streaming videos keep shutting off and on.

Hi, if the bookmarks toolbar is missing, right click in the tab bar (but not on a tab) and tick/check Bookmarks Toolbar.
If the bookmarks button is missing, open the 3-bar menu > Customize, and if you can see it, simply drag it to a toolbar in the location of your choice, then Exit Customize to save. If the button isn't there, try clicking on Restore Defaults. More here - Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars.

Hi, info on the Norton Toolbar compatibility issue is here.
If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you.
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/norton-toolbar-wont-work-firefox-version-41
Norton knew they had to work on a new version for a few months and even asked Mozilla to delay and change from Firefox 40.0 to Firefox 41.0 and Norton is still not ready.
PUT MY COMPUTER BACK THE WAY IT WAS BEFORE!!!! I WANT MY NORTON TOOLBAR, OR I WILL UNINSTALL FOXFIRE!!!!
Hi Cathryn7, support volunteers actually cannot do anything to your computer, so please don't shout at us. I'm guessing the problem is that Firefox updated to version 41.
If you want to use an up-to-date version of Firefox that can still run the current Norton Toolbar, there is another option. You could consider using a different variant of Firefox called the Extended Support Release (ESR) for the time being. ESR is designed for companies that require a longer cycle time between feature changes, but anyone can run it.
ESR currently is based on Firefox 38. It will get security updates over the next several months, but not get new features, so changes in Firefox 41 related to add-on compatibility will not kick in for quite a while.
Norton is likely to continue to support ESR until the new toolbar update. After that, I'm not sure what they will do because normally they only support a small range of versions.
If you decide to try it, here is how I suggest installing it:
Clean Reinstall
We use this name, but it's not about removing your settings, it's about making sure the program files are clean (no inconsistent, corrupted, or alien code files). As described below, this process does not disturb your existing settings. Do NOT uninstall Firefox, that's not needed.
(A) Download a fresh installer for Firefox 38.3.0esr from https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/organizations/all/ to a convenient location. (Scroll down to your preferred language.)
(B) Exit out of Firefox (if applicable).
(C) Rename the program folder, either:
(64-bit Windows folder names)
C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox
to
C:\Program Files (x86)\Fx41
(32-bit Windows folder names)
C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
to
C:\Program Files\Fx41
(D) Run the installer you downloaded in (A). It should automatically connect to your existing settings.
Success?
Note: Some plugins may exist only in that old folder. If something essential is missing, look in these folders:
- \Fx41\Plugins
- \Fx41\browser\plugins

I never gave you permission to put an update on my computer!! I didn't want that, and now, I can't download the pictures someone puts on my facebook, also. My whole computer is screwed up. I don't have the $300 to have Dell come in and clean up this mess.
I want the old system back.

I downloaded this download as you request. Now, all of 100 favorite websites that I had saved are gone, I don't have the top toolbar link to them anymore. How do I get them back?
How do I get my podcasts back?
Hi Cathryn7, what did you do, exactly?
Neither renaming the specified folder nor running the installer changes your bookmarks. Did you uninstall or Refresh (do not do these things).
